¶ Spider X1/X1S Precision Upgrade KIT Installation For 400*400mm

¶ 1. Preparation
¶ 1.1 Place the machine on a clean, stable surface.
¶ 1.2 Gather the following tools and parts
¶ 2. Installing the Guide Wheels
¶ 2.1 Flip the machine over.
¶ 2.2 Use the M1 hex wrench to loosen and remove the 4 timing pulleys.
¶ 2.3 Attach the 4 guide wheels to the pulley shafts using an M3 hex wrench.
¶ 2.4 Insert each wheel about 2/3 into the inner wall to prevent friction with the rollers.
¶ 2.5 Tighten the screws securely (each wheel has 2 screws).
¶ 3. Removing the Limit Blocks and Screws
¶ 3.1 Loosen and remove the two acrylic limit blocks on both sides using an M5 hex wrench.
¶ 3.2 Set them aside.
¶ 3.3 Remove the two belt tension screws on both sides to prepare for slider installation.
¶ 3.4 Remove one flat-head screw from the inner row of both left and right panels using an M3 hex wrench.
¶ 4. Installing the Sliders
¶ 4.1 Pre-install the hand-tightened screws on the right slider.
¶ 4.2 Face the roller side towards you and secure it under the machine.
¶ 4.3 Ensure the slider's wheels align with the guide wheels.
¶ 4.4 Install the left slider in the same way.
¶ 5. Replacing the Belts
¶ 5.1 Use a Phillips screwdriver to remove the screws securing the X-axis lower frame and take it off.
¶ 5.2 Remove the Y-axis belts by loosening the two belt tension screws.
¶ 5.3 Cut the spare belt in half to match the original length.
¶ 5.4 Install it with the teeth facing down, securing it to the Y-axis edge with an M3 hex wrench. Only tighten one side for now.
¶ 6. Final Assembly
¶ 6.1 Rotate the machine 90° forward and insert both sides into the Y-axis frame.
¶ 6.2 Attach the right-side Y-axis belt by aligning it with the slider and guide wheels. Secure it with the pre-installed screws.
¶ 6.3 Use pliers to tighten the belt, then secure the screws with an M3 hex wrench. Trim any excess belt. Repeat for the left side.
¶ 6.4 Lay the machine flat and slide it 1/3 into the Y-axis frame.
¶ 6.5 Reinstall the X-axis frame and secure it using a Phillips screwdriver.
¶ 6.6 Reattach the acrylic limit blocks using an M5 hex wrench.
Installation Complete!

¶ 1.Place the machine on a clean desktop
¶ 2. Prepare the tools and parts as follows
¶ 3.Remove the limit acrylic and the flat head screw
¶ 3.1.Use the M5 hex wrench to loosen the two limit acrylics on the left and right sides of the frame counter clock wise
¶ 3.2.unscrew the two belt fixing screws on the left and right sides to facilitate the subsequent installation of the slider into the Y axis on both sides
¶ 4.Remove the belt
¶ 4.1.Unscrew the two belt top screws on the left and right sides above the Y-axis, take out the two Y-axis frame belts
¶ 4.2.Using the Phillips screwdriver in the tool box to remove the X-axis limit acrylic block on both sides and the XY-axis frame fixing screws counterclockwise to remove the X-axis lower frame
¶ 4.3.Take out the M4 hexagonal wrench, loosen and remove the top screws from the fixed strip at the Y-axis connection of the expansion frame (one on each connection), and then take out a fixed strip and install it under the connection of the two profiles (a total of 6 places on the left and right Y-axis)
¶ 5.Assemble the slider
¶ 5.1. Reinstall the disassembled upper X-axis and fix it to the Y-axis
¶ 5.2.Take out the spare belt, align the two sides of the belt, use scissors to split it into two belts of the same length, and then install the belt with the toothed part facing down.
¶ 5.3.Using the M3 hexagonal wrench to install the top screw on the belt
¶ 5.4.Press one top screw on each side of the upper edge of the Y-axis, leaving one side for later installation of the slider
¶ 5.5.Take out the M3 hex wrench and turn the machine over. You can see the flat head screws below. The left shell will unscrew one screw from the inner
¶ 5.6.The right shell will unscrew one screw from the inner row, which is convenient for the subsequent installation of the slider
¶ 5.7.Take out the right slider and pre-install the hand screws into the upper groove of the slider in advance(The right side in the same way)
¶ 5.8.Making sure the roller and steering wheel on the slider are kept parallel
¶ 5.9.Align and insert the frame Y axis
¶ 5.10.Insert the right Y axis belt into the slider roller and steering wheel
¶ 5.11.Pre-install the top screw on the belt after installation,use duckbill pliers to tighten the belt, and then use M3 hexagonal wrench to tighten the fixed belt top screw,and use scissors to cut off the excess belt
¶ 6.Reinstall the acrylic limit acrylic and frame
¶ 6.1.Square the machine and the frame to the left, and then push the machine into the Y axis frame 1/3,reinstall the previously removed X axis frame, fix the frame with a cross screwdriver, and then use M5 hexagonal wrench to install the acrylic limit block back to the frame

1.Please download MKS Tool if you don’t have this application on your computer.
2.Open MKS Tool and Choose “MKS ESP32 Download Tool”
Choose bin file（tkdz_ts24_V2.1.2_20250113_beta.bin）
And choose the correct COM port.
Click Start and begin “download”.

2.Open LightBurn and choose “Edit-Machine Settings”
Choose “Load from File”
Choose “lightburn seting 20250123.lbset”
Choose “Write”
Click “OK” and finish the update.
¶ Lightburn Setting For Extend Frame
1.Open LightBurn and choose “Edit-Machine Settings”
2. Change these two parameters to 80,then click write.
